Hackathon Rules and Guidelines

Welcome to the OpenServ Hackathon! We’re excited to have you onboard to innovate, collaborate, and push boundaries. To ensure a smooth and rewarding experience for everyone, please review the following guidelines:

Positive Participation

We encourage a collaborative and respectful atmosphere. Share ideas, provide feedback, and support your fellow participants throughout the event.

Platform Commitment

To maximize the visibility and impact of your work:

• Winning agents must remain live and accessible on the OpenServ platform for 6 months after the hackathon.
• In return, winners will receive not only their monetary prize but also opportunities to profit from their agent/app.

Spotlight Opportunities

Winners and their agents will receive special recognition:

• Featured highlights on our social media platforms and website.
• Promotion and spotlight placement on the OpenServ platform, ensuring your work reaches a wide audience.

It is strictly prohibited to develop agents that engage in or promote any activities that violate laws or regulations.

Ownership and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the code and the agent you build, as long as you follow the rules and guidelines laid out here. By participating, you grant OpenServ the right to showcase, promote, host and deploy your agent on the platform.

Fair Play

Your submission must be your original work. While the use of open-source tools and preexisting libraries is allowed, ensure proper attribution where applicable.

Team Collaboration

You can participate as an individual or as part of a team, but any teamwork must be completed/submitted through a single account/email.

We’re here to help! You’ll have access to mentors, technical resources, and platform documentation to guide you throughout the hackathon.
